SGD&R defends persons charged with violations in municipal courts throughout the State. We handle all matters within the jurisdiction of the municipal court, including DWI, moving violations (careless driving, speeding, etc.), driving without insurance or while a license is suspended, drug offenses, and theft-related charges such as shoplifting. We also represent both complainants and respondents regarding charges filed in the municipal court by citizens ("private complaints").
The firm's municipal court attorneys include a partner who is a former federal prosecutor and former municipal prosecutor, and an associate who is a former assistant state prosecutor in Essex County. Many of our attorneys have years of experience in municipal court. |
